Aleah Leigh Feature – Contessa’s Court October 2015
Contessa’s Court October 2015
A series on my images used as part of an editorial feature for Aleah Leigh Designs has just been published in the online magazine Contessa’s Court October 2015 issue. The 7 images (pages 62, 63, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76 and 77) were taken over the last couple of years, the most recent being of Gordon Flynn, the magazine’s European Fashion Director with the wing images and the ‘digital’ makeup by Aleah (bottom row, above). Some of the images use graphical effects, other are almost straight out of the camera. I always pre-plan a set of images if they are going to require some digital manipulation and I shoot many more images than I am going to need, just in case. Images such as the head being pulled out of the wall take an average of 5-6 hours to complete. I’m really please Contessa’s Court have published these images, thank you Gordon.
There are some new concepts in the pipeline to take the ‘wings’ theme further as well as some totally new ideas coming from the three of us.
We were all together again for the Crystal Palace vs. West Ham match last Saturday as Aleah’s football inspired designs were shown during halftime to promote British Polio Fellowship and to create awareness for this worthy charity which helps those affected by both Polio and Post Polio Syndrome.
