Joao Melo Costa – Fashion Scout – Freemason’s Hall WC2 – London Fashion Week
I visited the event on Sunday, it was the last of a few shows I was due to see on the third day of London Fashion week. I was there representing Models of Diversity mixing with the good and the great all closeting around outside huddling from the cold and usual delays of getting everyone into this imposing building. In contrast to the earlier show the the Vestibule Hall in the Freemason’s Hall was light and bright. I can’t really comment on the clothes, the designs seemed familiar with european style but nothing spectacular or jaw dropping. The models were as expected, white and thin, with clever hair styling over part of their faces. One noticeable model of colour, with the rest having very little variation in skin tone at all. In fact, maybe one or two model looked Portugues-ish, needless to say I wasn’t impressed, sorry.
Here are the images from this back to back event (the other designer was Daniela Barros). To scroll through the images just click them!
